  • Assisted Friends of Scouting in camp land purchase in Rehoboth
  • Annually sponsor several diabetic youth at the Jocylin Summer Camp
  • New portable generator for South Attleboro Rescue Squad
  • Attleboro Symphony Orchestra
  • South Attleboro resident who lost possessions in house fire
  • "Wish Come True" Program
  • American Legion Post #312 Memorial Day Parade

  • Assisted two local residents in purchase of "Hearing Ear" dog

  • Built playground at Lincoln School and years later moved it to St. Theresa's Church
  • Hold Eyemobile Screening Clinic for South Attleboro residents annually
  • Purchased and installed "Crime Watch" signs for Attleboro Police Department
  • Attleboro Museum
  • Raised funds for Muscular Dystrophy victim Eddie Dobeck
  • Paid for plans and engineering study to clean up Lee's Pond, which the Massachusetts Legislature took under advisement
  • Purchased typewriter for two South Attleboro students with ,muscle disease
  • Paid for exams and glasses for numerous South Attleboro residents
  • Arranged appointments for several local residents at Eye Research hospitals
  • Purchased food baskets for the needy of South Attleboro
  • Support Lions Club District 33-S Blind Summer Camp
  • Purchase toys for U.S. Marines "Toys for Tots" Program
  • "African Famine Relief Fund"
  • Helped to save the life of an 11 year-old South Attleboro girl at our EyeMobile, by detecting a heart problem that her parents were not aware of
  • Purchased a Braille Computer for an area youth
  • Guide Dog Foundation
  • Attleboro Area Youth and Family Services
  • Annually sponsor a local student's participation in the Massachusetts Lions All State Band
  • Annually contribute generously to the local "Christmas Is for Kids Program"
  • Raised funds for and coordinated the "Lee's Pond Beautification Project"
  • Annually sponsor the Lions Youth Speech Competition in Attleboro's high schools
  • The "Attleboro Honor Roll" Veterans Memorial
  • Honored two local girls for saving a man’s eyesight in an accident

  • Sponsor students to Presidential Classroom

  • Purchased two cold water Rescue Suits and had two older suits refurbished for City of Attleboro Fire Department Rescue Team

  • Purchased a TV and VCR for the Brookside Apartment's recreation room
  • Helped out a child with a hearing problem

  • Annually purchase Christmas gifts for the residents of Victorian Mansion
  • Purchased a TV Decoder for a deaf child
  • Support various Boy Scout Troop 35 Eagle projects
  • Annual cleanup of Lees Pond Park
  • The "Equador" Project
  • Sponsor and coordinate annual "Lees Pond Festival", as a Thank You to the public for its support of our endeavors
  • South Attleboro Teen Center
  • Sponsor the Greater Attleboro Leo Club, which in its first year won Best Club in District
  • Local Hospice
  • Constructed a wheelchair ramp for the Roy family with a child in a wheelchair
  • Organized several groups to purchase a CCTV Unit for the Larson Senior Center
  • Attleboro House of Hope
  • Furnished and equipped a school in Kenya as a gift from the people of South Attleboro
  • Donated a state of the art Heart Defibulator to Attleboro High School and paid to have staff trained in its use
  • Contributed to the fund to open and run the swimming pool at Lees Pond
